Der seit seinem achten Lebensjahr für den FC Liverpool spielende Steven Gerrard (31) hat vergangene Woche seinen Vertrag bei dem englischen Fußballclub langfristig verlängert. In diesem Zusammenhang sagte er u.a.:
“There will be more highs and lows, there’s no doubt about it as that’s part and parcel of being a football player at a top club. The important thing is that you react well to the lows and experience more of the highs.” Quelle: Guardian
Die Formulierung “to be part and parcel of sth.” kann man auf Deutsch mit u.a. mit “ein fester Bestandteil von etw. sein” oder “untrennbar mit etw. verbunden sein” übersetzen.
